Well well.. an interesting new development is that moonbase69 is now dabbling with some research pertaining to what happened on 9/11 in 2001. As of yet we're not really comfortable with either side.. conformity was never a specialty of moonbase, I guess :). Keep an eye on the forums of www.loosechange911.com to see how things turn out :)
Also see our image enhancing with some explanation with it.

Observant visitors of moonbase69 will already have noticed that the number of tunes available on the music page has been increasing dramatically recently. One of the reasons for all this creativity has been the developments concerning www.gaagh.com. On that site you will find a space-strategy game for which Moonbase69 provided the music. Of course the music is also available as separate downloads on our music page.
Besides the Gaagh music you will also find other new tunes in varying states of being finished. Just go and have a listen, and drop us a line if you'd like to tell us what you think of it :)

Mischievous takes over Jeff Rense talkshow
While listening to the online radio show by Jeff Rense something weird happened. First a very loud beep is heard followed a few seconds later by the song Mischievous kicking in and completely taking over the Jeff Rense talk show!
Also the comments after this 'take over' are quite funny.

New DAW, Sinus Iridum in progress, new song from Payt
While working on Sinus Iridum a problem emerged; the current computer (Digital Audio Workstation aka DAW) was too slow to handle all the creative work.
New and faster computer parts were arranged for and the kitchen of denheer was changed into a workshop. The work to build the new DAW could begin.
After about two hours of hammering, screwing, pasting and cursing the DAW was finished. No blood all over the place this time so that must be a good omen.
The new DAW delivers much more raw performance, about twice the old DAW. Sinus Iridum is now on the right track to become a masterpiece.
In the meantime Payt thought it would be a good idea to make an introsong for the upcomming Moonbase69 CD. Only thing is, the poor guy can't make a short song of lets say 1:30m. He start with something simple and before you know it, the finished product is enhanced into a 3:30m classic. It's good for a Moonbase69 song, but it ain't an intro anymore. Payt was forced to change the name of the song and choose 'Frogtears' as a compassioned name. You can now download and listen to it in the music section.

On Wednesday, the 19th of January 2005, the Mother of denheer, Rose Marie, passed away.
One of the last whishes she had was for denheer to compose her a song that would be played at her funeral. At First denheer began with the song 'Requiem Di Rosa'. But after listening to that song and looking at the lifestyle of Rose Marie the song was much too dark for her. Then denheer remembered FireFly, a song Payt and denheer made a long time ago. He also remembered that Payt was working on a new version of FireFly. Since Rose Marie liked that song very much and since that song really showed who she was it was clear that the new FireFly would be it.
After changing a few last things, mainly making it shorter, the song was finished one day before her funeral. The song was played as people entered the auditorium for her funeral.
People who wish to know more about the life of Rose Marie and the funeral can check it out here (Dutch).
May she rest in peace.
